I design and develop the layer where software meets hardware: real-time firmware for audio, lighting and medical devices. Off the clock: synthesizers, coffee roasting and mountain biking.

I've always been fascinated by computers and electronic devices, and I've built my career on the boundary between hardware and software: real-time constraints, memory you can count in kilobytes, and signals you can actually see on a scope. I build things that are innovative, robust and efficient.
That same curiosity has carried me across a broad spectrum of devices, from Bluetooth headsets and party speakers to an EEG-measuring medical wearable. Off the clock it spills into my own projects, from a DIY synthesizer platform and its web tools to maps of the routes I've travelled.

Synth · Hardware + DSP
A battery-powered generative synth the size of a paperback, built around the Daisy Seed: thirteen knobs, a bare-copper touch keyboard and a round display on three stacked boards in a 3D-printed shell. The boards are designed and checked against their datasheets; the printed dry fit is under way.
Web · Tooling
A browser-based control surface that talks to Spore in real time. Patch editing, parameter automation, and firmware-aware UI, all over WebMIDI / Web Serial.
Map · Data-viz
An interactive map that traces the routes taken across Iceland. Part travel log, part cartographic experiment in showing movement over dramatic terrain.
Web App · Books
A home for your reading life. Organize your library and wishlist, build lists and book clubs, and get personalized recommendations powered by embeddings.
IoT · Firmware + App
A weight-sensing plant saucer that knows when your plants are thirsty. Custom four-layer PCB around an nRF54L15 and an nPM2100 PMIC with a meandered on-board Bluetooth antenna, Zephyr firmware, a Compose companion app, and a Supabase backend keyed by device serial.

ESP-IDF firmware for the M5PaperMono: every peripheral on the board brought up behind a diagnostics screen, laid out so a new proof of concept is one file plus one line in a list.
